The National Park of the Volcano arenal is located in the district of La Fortuna in the province of Alajuela and is one of the most visited places in the country because of the volcano that flows hot springs and lava rivers.
This tour allows travelers to experience the best aspects of the Arenal. It starts with a hike near the Arenal Volcano National Park. In this case, you will have to walk through the remains of the historic eruption of 1968 and – depending on the weather – the opportunity to see the volcano in action: smoke coming out of its summit and pyroclastic flows falling on its side. On the way to hike, you will drive through Lake Arenal and the testimony of its expansive, beautiful waters.
In this tour we can swim in the river in Tabacon hot water, we will enjoy the largest lake in Central America, which is the man made to generate electricity.
